What is your opinion on middle school relationships?
Q. Im a 6th grader and many of my friends have or had boyfriends and girlfriends. I personally think that it depends on what someone means by "we're going out" or "we're dating" Most of them have had "on campus relationships" where the sit together at lunch and talk to each other at school. I think those are fine. I don't however believe that this young they should be actually going on real dates and kissing or that sort of thing. I was Just wondering what your thoughts were. ok i also wanted to add something since some people are saying things like oh this person is using you or like there stupid and dont last...but what if this guy you were thinking about asking out has been like your best friend since 4th grade??

A. It sounds like you have a really good head on your shoulders. Sixth grade "dating"- talking to each other in school and stuff- is perfectly fine. It's when you get into the actual dating and physical stuff that people get into trouble. There's plenty of time in high school and beyond to enjoy those kinds of relationships.
